Signing in, and what to do about a password

Sign in with your email and password, Apple or Google, reset a forgotten password with a six-digit code, and fix an unconfirmed account.

iPhone and AndroidSign inUpdated September 4, 2026

Also known as: sign in, log in, login, password, forgot password, reset password, cannot sign in, locked out, code, apple, google, not confirmed, wrong password

Tap the person icon at the top right of any screen to reach the sign-in screen.

Signing in

Type your Email and Password and tap Sign In. If you made the account with Apple or Google, use that button instead: those accounts have no Slipside password at all.

Forgot your password

  1. On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?
  2. Check that the Email field holds the right address and tap Send Reset Code.
  3. Slipside emails a six-digit reset code. Type it into Reset code, type a New password underneath, and tap Set New Password.

That signs you straight in; there is no second confirmation step. One thing to know: once the code has been sent, the email field locks. If you sent it to the wrong address, tap Remembered it? Sign in to start again.

“Your account isn’t confirmed yet”

If you signed up but never entered the code, signing in bounces you to the confirmation screen and Slipside emails a fresh six-digit code straight away. Enter it and you are in.

If the email does not arrive

Check the spam folder first. Slipside sends from hello@slipside.app, and that address is send-only, so replies to it go nowhere. On the sign-up confirmation screen there is a Didn’t get it? Send a new code link. On the reset screen there is not, so start the reset again.

Signing out

Open Profile and scroll to the bottom: Sign Out. It signs out immediately without asking twice. Nothing you have saved is lost, and browsing still works.

Still stuck? In the app, open Profile, then Help & Support, and use Send to support. Otherwise email support@slipside.app.
